Below: From the gantry I got an excellent shot of what now reamains of Rosslyn Castle.
Part of it is for rent through the Land MarkTrust. Those blue ‘bumps’ in the background are the Pentland hills. During the times of the early Sinclairs, the Chapel was connected by a bridge of which only part remains.

A lot of these figures were hidden by the scaffolding - but once you duck under the boards and peer up, they seem to come to life in front of the camera.
